Depot Operative - Immediate Start

Location: Redditch
Hours Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30

Pay Rate - GBP12.44 per hour

Job Role -

As our Depot Operative, you ll be planning and managing the production of signage as well as preparing picking lists for traffic management signage, the loading and unloading of pallets with a Fork Lift Truck, cages and vehicles using a forklift truck and occasionally driving our clients van to collect items.

Responsibilities -

• Ensuring machinery, traffic management equipment, signage, racking, benches, and pallets are clean and tidy and fit for purpose.
• Safely operate the depot FLT and pallet truck for transporting heavy loads around the production hub.
• Prepare all signs to make them ready for re-use.
• Application of laminate wording, patches and symbols to sign plates.
• Check that all the required signs/traffic management equipment are loaded to the exact requirements.
• Direct and support the activity of team members working in the production hub.

Experience Required

Warehouse Experience (1-year preferable)

Forklift Truck certification Desirable

Must hold full UK driving license

Basic IT skills (MS Office and role specific applications)
