Maintenance Engineer

A Maintenance Engineer position has become available within a plastic moulding company that provides high quality products and is currently experiencing a period of significant growth. This is a manufacturing facility where everyone's skills will be recognised and developed.

Based in a modern facility you will work closely with other Mechanical Engineers and Electricians to ensure that plant and equipment is kept up and running with minimal down time, and maintenance schedules are upheld.

42,000- 44,000, Monday - Friday Day shift

As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -

• Maintaining and repairing production machinery.
• Keeping reports and documenting work carried out.
• Installing temporary/new or upgraded equipment with pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical components onto operating and production systems.

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer the ideal Candidate will-

• Have experience of maintaining and repairing plastic moulding / processing machinery / equipment (extruders, thermoformers, injection / blow moulders
• Hold a relevant Mechanical qualification and have experience of pneumatics and/or hydraulics.
• Have good diagnostic / fault-finding skills.

Based near Market Harborough, this role is commutable from Leicester, Oakham, Peterborough, Kettering, Northampton and all surrounding areas.
