Area Manager


Stafforce Cumbria are working on behalf of a long-standing partner in contract catering services to recruit an Area Manager for the Northwest of England. You will be experienced in delivering high standards of customer service and food provision, and will be able to utilise this experience to manage multiple education and business in industry contracts.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday, and will be flexible to meet the business demands. You will not be bound by a standard office environment, and instead will be excited at the prospect of getting out on the road, working directly with your clients and teams, assisting in areas requiring improvement, getting to the foundations of how best to manage each individual contract. It goes without saying that you will demonstrate impeccable leadership qualities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage all daily operations within your area of responsibility

- Maintain and manage income lines

- Monthly financial reporting

- Support with client meetings

- Build and consistently reinforce positive client relationships

- Have active involvement in menu planning and development

- Keep up to date on all relevant health and safety legislation

- Ensure full compliance with company policies

- Act as disciplinary / hearing manager as required

Your prior experience will have been built in a similar environment, working with large contracts within the catering industry. It is imperative that you have working knowledge of managing multi-site operations, so you are equipped to fully inhibit the role from the outset.

In exchange for your impressive experience, you will be offered above average remuneration, as well as the opportunity to earn a performance-based bonus of up to 5000 per annum.
