Finance Broker - Property & Development

We're on the lookout for a driven and personable Finance Broker to join our client in Hertfordshire. If you're excited by the idea of sourcing funding for high-value development projects and working directly with both borrowers and lenders, this could be the perfect next step in your financial services career.

What Does the Role Entail?
You'll be at the heart of deal origination, sourcing and securing funding solutions for a diverse range of commercial and specialist residential developments. This role involves building and nurturing relationships with clients and lenders, assessing project viability, and navigating complex finance requirements. Your days will be spent combining relationship management with analytical thinking, all while keeping your finger on the pulse of the specialist finance market. Support and training will be provided, especially around niche lenders and development documentation, but you'll need to bring a good base of financial know-how to hit the ground running.

What Skills Will You Have?
We're looking for someone with a solid grounding in financial services and a good understanding of finance principles. You'll need to be analytical and confident in reviewing development documents and assessing project feasibility. Strong communication and negotiation skills are key, as is the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in specialist finance and a flair for origination would be another advantage.

What Is On Offer?
You'll receive a basic salary of up to 40,000 depending on experience, with uncapped commission and realistic earnings over 100,000 per year. You will also receive 21 days' holiday (plus bank holidays) and additional perks, including a CPD budget to support your professional growth. This is a full-time role based in the office in a deal-focused environment.
