Field Service Engineer (Multi-Skilled)

JR181: Field Service Engineer  Location: United Kingdom Salary: Up to £44,000 Per Annum (OTE £56k+) Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: Test, install, commission, plan maintenance and fault find, on mechanical/electrical equipment. Power and control equipment for mains frequency channel furnaces, including a range of electrical, electronic, control and mechanical ancillary equipment and refractory. Work along side main contractor to supervise the installation of equipment. Lead teams, giving out instructions and monitoring others. Create plans, schedules whilst monotiling and maintaining them. Skills and Qualifications: Ability to read electrical, electronic and mechanical schematics and drawings. Previous experience working within the Manufacturing/Production/Industrial engineering sectors. Ability to work alone to plan and control the work schedule, diagnose faults, make repairs and supervise other workers, such as contractors. Comfortable making on the spot decisions and sharing information and decision making with customers and office support personnel. Computer literacy (report writing, email, presentation of data, etc). Clean UK driving licence. Understanding of electrical and electronic circuit theory (Desirable). Location: United Kingdom Salary: Up to £44,000 Per Annum (OTE £56k+)
