Teaching Assistant - Psychology Graduate


Are you a psychology graduate looking for a role in teaching/education? In partnership with a number of primary schools across the Bolton area Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a number of psychology graduates and/or to support the academic and personal development of their pupils and to support with behaviour management. The schools are keen to give opportunities to positive role models who can provide a safe and supportive environment to their pupils and to encourage positive choices within the classroom. This role includes: -          Providing support within the classroom, as well as working in small groups or on a 1:1 basis with children who require additional, tailored support -          Providing consistent support to the Class Teacher throughout the day -          Monitoring the pupils’ progress and providing feedback -          Intervention support may also be required based on the needs of the pupils and your own expertise -          Collaborating effectively with other members of staff within school The pay for this role is £13.75-£14.50 per hour. The working hours are (typically) Monday-Friday 08:30-15:30.
