This role offers a unique opportunity for a skilled Associate/Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead major projects and inspire teams towards achieving engineering excellence. Role Overview As part of the team, you will have the chance to work on ground-breaking projects that integrate sustainable and energy-efficient solutions into classic and contemporary architecture. This position places a high emphasis on innovation and efficiency, aiming to redefine industry standards by implementing advanced engineering practices and technologies. Role Responsibilities: * Lead major engineering projects focusing on Mechanical or Electrical installations across various building types, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards and within budget. * Conduct cost and profit diagnosis including feasibility studies and preparation of fee bids, providing detailed financial analyses to optimize economic performance of projects. * Handle project reporting for various stakeholders and ensure adherence to schedules and plans, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle. * Develop applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems for engineering services, enhancing functionality and user experience. * Survey, test, and report on existing electrical/mechanical installations, ensuring all systems are up to code and recommending upgrades where necessary. * Represent the company at technical meetings with customers and professional teams, effectively communicating complex ideas and fostering relationships. * Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements in engineering calculations and drawings, meticulously verifying all work for accuracy and compliance. * Direct project progress through effective internal control systems and client liaison, ensuring strategic alignment and seamless integration of project components. Requirements: * BSc/BEng in an appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent experience, with a strong foundation in mechanical or electrical engineering principles. * Professional qualifications such as MCIBSE/MIEE or HND/HNC preferred, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high professional standards. * Chartered Engineering status is desirable, reflecting advanced expertise and a proven track record in the engineering field. * Fluency in German and professional proficiency in English, enabling effective communication in a multilingual environment. * Vast experience in specification design for diverse building types, with a portfolio demonstrating innovative design solutions. * Solid knowledge of health and safety legislations, contract law, and MS Office suite, ensuring all projects comply with legal and regulatory standards. * Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills, capable of guiding teams and stakeholders through complex projects.
