Head of Commercial

Summer-Browning Associates are currently supporting our client within the Public Sector, who are seeking a Head of Commercial on an initial 6 month assignment (Inside IR35) Location: London or York (hybrid) NB: To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have been at Head of Commercial level (with 5+ years of recent experience). You'll also be able to demonstrate the value of the relevant projects you've worked on. Essential * Knowledge of the use and application of railway and / or construction industry conditions of contract * Educated to degree level or equivalent and professional qualification * Experienced staff manager and negotiator * Demonstrate experience of resolution of construction contract disputes and robust post contract management * Relevant railway and/or construction experience * Knowledge of railway commercial contract management and estimating * Demonstrable experience of actively building internal and external networks and partnering across functions and boundaries * Demonstrable experience of coaching and addressing team and individual capability requirements * Demonstrable experience of assessing the impact of decisions on customers, with consideration of value for money and business priorities To apply, please submit your latest CV for review
