Electrical Installer/Tester Location: London & surrounding areas (Camden, Bexley, Greenwich) Salary: £43,000 – £50,000 per annum (depending on experience) A valued customer is currently seeking a qualified Electrical Installer/Tester to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional with a strong background in testing, inspections, and electrical installations, particularly within the social housing sector. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out EICRs and general electrical testing in void and occupied properties Completing remedial works and a variety of installation tasks including: Consumer units Alarms Emergency lighting Full and partial re-wires Wet room adaptations Managing day-to-day reactive electrical tasks Accurately documenting work and reporting to supervisors Applying sound judgement and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality results Managing time effectively and working proactively to meet deadlines Ensuring cost-effective service delivery Candidate Requirements: City & Guilds 18th Edition certification NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent qualification Proven experience in fault finding, testing, and inspecting others’ work Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital technology Previous experience working on social housing contracts or similar environments Full UK driving licence Own set of tools Package Includes: Competitive salary Up to £50,000 Company vehicle, fuel card, and uniform 28 days annual leave including bank holidays Additional holiday after 1 full year of service Pension scheme Annual salary review after initial 3-month review Employee referral scheme (£500 per successful referral) This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Installer/Tester to secure a permanent position within a reputable and supportive team.
