Quantity Surveyor


A highly respected consultancy is seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This role involves managing costs and contracts on a variety of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and reports for projects. * Conduct tender analysis and manage procurement processes. * Oversee contract administration, including valuations, variations, and final accounts. * Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success. * Provide financial insight and advice to support decision-making processes. * Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Requirements: * Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field. * MRICS qualification or working towards chartership is desirable. * Proven experience in managing costs across a range of projects, preferably in residential or commercial sectors. * Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC). * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Proficient in cost management software and tools.
