Project Manager

Project Manager (No.1) Project Manager (No.1) opportunity on a theatre refurbishment in East London which will consist of strip out and fit out. Project is worth circa £5 million. When you come into the project you will need to be managing the initial strip out of the theatre room, following this you will fit out the theatre room. The hospital is live so experience with live environments is crucial. As well as this, the project is heavy M&E so will need interface with this package as well. Being the number 1 on site you will need to be confident in making decisions, uphold health & safety and foresee problems and mitigate strategies in preventing them. Other responsibilities: Attending and contributing in contractor pre start meetings. Attending and contributing in design team meetings. Chairing weekly sub-contractor progress meetings, taking and issuing meeting minutes. Attending safe starts. Approving RAMS. Attending DABS and contributing to the meeting, discussing coordination with other trades. If necessary, taking the meeting, issuing the DABS report to all other team members. Enforcing H&S on site. Identifying potential problems but offering buildability solutions.We are paying between £330-£360cis per day for the right candidate.
