HGV Class C1 Driver (7.5 tonne)

Castle Employment are seeking a reliable and responsible HGV Class C1 Delivery Driver to join our client in the Driffield area. As a Delivery Driver, you will conduct deliveries efficiently and safely following assigned routes. Excellent oral communication and time management skills are essential, along with exceptional customer service skills. Working hours are Monday to Friday with NO weekends working from 5am until approximately 3/4pm, overtime is paid after 40 hours. Duties: Safely and efficiently transport goods and products to designated locations Load and unload delivery vehicles Follow delivery schedules and routes provided Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition Collect payments from customers, if required Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while drivingQualifications: Valid driver's license Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred Up to date driver CPC Digital Tachograph card Strong understanding of driver transport legislation Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and loading/unloading of goods up to 25kg Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Familiarity with local roads and routes is a plus Reach truck / Counterbalance certificate would be beneficialWe look forward to hearing from you
