Known for tendering against the industry’s top-tier firms (McLaren, Sisk, Mace), this contractor delivers large-scale projects valued between £20 million to £100 million, primarily involving RC Frame construction. Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic and growing team in London. You will support a number of high-profile projects across residential, hotels, and student accommodation, with projects in prime Central London locations. This is an excellent opportunity to work with blue-chip clients and gain exposure to large-scale projects in a competitive and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: * Take ownership of all financial aspects of projects, including cost management, procurement, and contract administration. * Prepare and maintain accurate cost reports, forecasts, and budgets for large-scale projects. * Assist with tendering and procurement processes, including working closely with clients and subcontractors. * Lead negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best pricing and terms. * Ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the highest quality standards. * Collaborate with project teams to ensure project timelines and cost targets are met. * Work with key stakeholders, ensuring the management of contracts, change orders, and variations. * Support junior QS team members and provide mentorship as needed. * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures. Key Requirements: * Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry. * Extensive experience working on large-scale residential, hotel, and student accommodation projects, particularly involving RC Frame construction. * Strong background in managing projects valued between £20 million and £100 million. * Experience tendering against leading contractors such as McLaren, Sisk, and Mace. * Excellent understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract administration processes. * Experience working in high-end, prime locations in London such as Bermondsey, Southbank, and the West End. * Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * A desire to build a long-term career with a growing company.
