We re excited to be recruiting for a Technical Estimator to join a well-established, growing team based in Tewkesbury. This is a full-time, permanent role offering real opportunities for growth and career progression ideal for an ambitious professional ready to take on a fresh challenge.

The Role:

As a Technical Estimator, you'll play a key role in preparing precise and competitive cost estimates for ventilation system projects across the UK. While primarily office-based, you ll also have the chance to conduct occasional site visits to inform your assessments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing detailed cost estimates from project specs and site information
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to identify project requirements, risks, and complexities
• Collaborating closely with the Project Management and Sales Teams to secure new business and deliver on existing projects
• Building and maintaining relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency
• Attending UK site visits to gather information for assessments and surveys

What You ll Need:

• Proven experience in technical estimating, ideally within fire & security, ventilation systems, or similar sectors
• Confidence reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, and technical specifications
• Strong understanding of construction safety and security systems
• Great communication skills with the ability to foster strong stakeholder relationships
• Competence in using estimation software and MS Office tools
