Sales Manager


XCL Group are currently recruiting for a sheet metal manufacturing company based in Huddersfield, who are looking for a Sales Manager to join their team.

The company themselves cover a vast number of sectors across the UK including; Automotive, Food Processing, Medical, Digital Signage, Construction, plus many more.

As Sales Manager, you would be responsible for creating new leads and bringing in new business to help grow the company profile as opposed to working off an existing list.

Other job responsibilities would include:

  • Leading the sales team
  • Bringing in & implementing new initiatives to evolve the sales process
  • Track sales activity, making adjustments as required
  • Create & maintain long term partnerships with clients
  • Manage Sales Budgets to drive profitability

To be successful, the company do require quite a certain amount of experience, to be able to fulfil the Sales Manager role, which is outlined below:

  • Creating & executing long-term sales strategies
  • Ability to employ data-driven insights to enhance sales strategies to ensure accurate forecasting
  • Proven experience of leadership skills, through to developing high performing sales teams
  • Vast knowledge of Customer Relationship Management, i.e. the various CRM platforms available and ability to optimize their uses to improve customer relationships, satisfaction and retention
  • Ability to create solid marketing campaigns
  • Strong negotiating skills, with a proven record of closing and managing complex deals.

As well as the experience required, they are also looking for the applicant to be competent in the following key areas:

  • Highly motivated & passionate towards a professional work ethic
  • Ability to inspire and manage a team, with strong leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational skills: time management is a priority
  • Strong communication skills
  • IT literate, practiced in estimating software & CRM as well as modern marketing tools
  • Experience / background knowledge in Fabrication

Hours:

Monday Thursday, 7.30am 4.15pm

Friday, 7.30am 1pm

The role will be office based; however, you may be required to attend / carry out client visits.
