Contracts Administrator

Job Title: Contracts Administrator / Project Manager Location: Newcastle upon Tyne We are working with a leading residential architecture practice that is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to manage the post-approval phase of their projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Contracts Administrator to play a key role in delivering high-quality residential developments and ensuring smooth project execution. The Role As a Contracts Administrator, you will: * Oversee the contract administration process for bespoke residential projects. * Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and provide detailed reports. * Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to manage payment schedules and financials. * Perform tender analysis and ensure all contracts comply with industry standards and regulations. * Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders to keep projects on track. * Collaborate with the design team to ensure seamless coordination from concept to completion. * Handle essential project administration, including document control, compliance checks, and project tracking. What We’re Looking For * A full UK driving licence and access to a car for site visits. * Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator or Project Manager, ideally within architecture or residential construction. * A strong understanding of residential construction processes and contract management. * A degree in Architecture, Building Surveying, or Construction Project Management is desirable. * Familiarity with industry-standard software packages. * Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects confidently. * A proactive, team-focused approach to contributing to the success of the practice.
