Job Title: Plasterer - Council Properties Repairs & Maintenance

Location: Wolverhampton, UK

Contract Type: Full-Time Monday- Friday.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterer to join our team in Wolverhampton, focusing on the repair and maintenance of council properties. You will play a key role in ensuring the upkeep and safety of residential homes, providing high-quality plastering services to a wide range of properties across the city.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out all aspects of plastering work including skimming, rendering, patch repairs, and plasterboard installation.
• Respond to maintenance and repair requests from tenants, ensuring a high standard of workmanship.
• Work on both occupied and vacant council properties, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a plasterer, ideally within a social housing or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of various plastering techniques and materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants and colleagues.
• A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
