Our client is a well-established organisation in Eastbourne that operate across Sussex and Kent. They are a growing SME that has been established in the local area for over 30 years.

Description

As the Finance Assistant, your role responsibilities will include:

• Manage accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
• Posting of customer invoices onto system
• Bank reconciliation
• Credit Control
• Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related problems
• Support in audit processes and tax preparation
• CIS returns
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

• A strong understanding of accounting principles
• Experience working in a varied Finance role
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical ability
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Offer

• An estimated salary range of 32,000 - 35,000
