Position: Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL)

Location: Slough

Salary: Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale (GBP31,650 - GBP49,084 per annum)

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Start Date: 24th February 2025

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in specify languages, e.g., French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop their language skills and cultural awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging MFL lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and a love for languages.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share innovative teaching resources and strategies.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Proven experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages at the secondary level.
• Strong understanding of the MFL curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
