Multi Skilled Builder

Our client, a prominent entity in the defence and security sector, is seeking a multi skilled builder - carpenter on a contract basis. The role will be responsible for delivering a wide range of responsive maintenance and minor works jobs related to various buildings projects on site

• Carry out and complete PPM tasks and reactive breakdown works around site.
• Fabric repairs and basic facilities tasks with training, the successful candidate will need to be able to work within a maintenance team and support other team members.
• You will be required to undertake various tasks, such as plant operations, excavation work, temporary works, roads and paving, concrete and reinforcement works, masonry repairs, and general maintenance.
• General building carpentry maintenance tasks, such as repairs or alternations to building structure, floors, ceilings, walls and appurtenances. Timber repairs and replacement, painting, installing and furnishing equipment that the company needs.
• Ensuring that work is carried out safely and in line with the Company's health and safety processes and procedures, as well as HSE requirements.

• Proactive and enthusiastic work approach with good attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to articulate the status of processes confidently.
• Flexibility to work across various processes on the shop floor.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and site rules.

• Carpentry NVQ
• Driving Licence
• CPCS in relatable plant operations
