Support worker

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time Salary: £11.50 - £13.00 per hour (Depending on experience & shift pattern) Location: Tonbridge Kent About the Role: Swanstaff Ltd is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Tonbridge. You will be providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and complex needs, ensuring their well-being, independence, and dignity. Responsibilities: * Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks. * Support clients with medication management and health monitoring. * Encourage and promote independence, social interaction, and engagement in community activities. * Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies. * Maintain accurate records and follow care plans to meet individual needs. Requirements: * Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a similar care role * A caring, patient, and empathetic approach. * Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and nights. * An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). * A valid UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
