Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) Permanent
Location: Near Bury St Edmunds
Salary: GBP38,303 + 28 Days Holiday + Pension + Training Opportunities
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (No Shift Work)
Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias looking for a stable, on-site role with excellent benefits and long-term career development? We seek a skilled and proactive engineer to join our team at a distribution centre near Bury St Edmunds.

The Role: As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our site by carrying out repairs, servicing, and general maintenance. Your day-to-day duties will include:
??? Maintenance and repair of loading bays and tail lifters
??? General building maintenance across the facility
??? Operating a forklift truck (license preferred but training can be provided)
??? Welding tasks (desirable but not essential)
??? Training provided on refrigeration systems for future career progression

What We re Looking For: NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)
Experience in a factory, warehouse, or distribution environment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Forklift experience (or willingness to be trained)
Welding experience (a bonus but not essential)
