Key Responsibilities:
Delivering engaging and creative Music lessons across KS3 and KS4
Encouraging students to explore their musical talents and develop their confidence
Planning and marking in line with the national curriculum
Collaborating with the performing arts department on extracurricular activities and school performances
Requirements
The successful Music Teacher will have;
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience teaching Music at secondary school level
Passion for music education and the ability to inspire students
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
