Veneer Production Planner Location: Essex Hours: 42.5 hours per week – 07:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience  Contract: Permanent, full-time Benefits: Monthly pay 20 days annual leave (increasing by 1 day per full calendar year up to 25 days after 5 years) Private pension scheme  Private healthcare scheme  The Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Veneer Production Planner to join their team. The role requires strong technical knowledge of veneer materials and a meticulous approach to planning and quality control. Key responsibilities include: Identifying and selecting appropriate veneer species and cuts for each project Reading and interpreting technical drawings to plan veneer layouts Cutting and joining veneer to required specifications Managing veneer stock and workflow to ensure efficient production Collaborating with production teams to meet quality and deadline expectations Requirements: Proven experience in veneer preparation and production planning Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings Good organisational and planning skills to ensure efficient production processes Must have a valid driving licence due to company location This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to join a well-established company and contribute their expertise to a skilled team.
