Senior Quantity Surveyor | Major Residential Development | Southwark | Up to £90K + Benefits Location: Southwark Salary: Up to £90,000 + Package My client, a leading UK main contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a prestigious mixed-use residential development. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a large-scale regeneration project, delivering high-quality homes and commercial spaces in one of London’s most exciting areas. The Role: As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be part of an experienced team responsible for the commercial management of the project, ensuring cost control, value engineering, and contractual compliance throughout the construction process. Key Responsibilities: * Control the commercial management of the site, implementing client changes, ensuring financial efficiency and cost control. * Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments. * Provide accurate cost forecasting and reporting to senior stakeholders. * Identify and mitigate commercial risks while maximising project value. * Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures. * Work closely with project teams to drive successful project delivery. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the residential or mixed-use sector. * Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and cost management. * Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills. * Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure. * Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
