Our client is looking for an experienced HR Assistant.
To work consistently with colleagues across the HR Business Partnering Service to provide administrational support with ER case work (investigations and panels) HRBP activities (reorganisations, workforce planning etc) ? To ensure a high quality, professional, friendly customer experience both internally across the HR&OD and wider across the Council when undertaking work related activities. ? To grow and develop as a HR professional through observations, experience and training to provide advice, guidance and resolve HR queries.
Essential
Knowledge of HR practices
Working knowledge of employment law
Experience of working collaboratively with others to create change in a local authority or similarly organisation. Experience of working within an HR role, HR environment or administrational role . Experience of working collaboratively and being an effective team member and able to celebrate success and recognise learning. Experience of being organised with an ability to prioritise tasks to meet key deadlines. Ability to handle sensitive situations calmly and methodically . Experience of handling sensitive data and information in confidence
Able to use a variety of IT and digital technologies i.e. Word, Excel, HRMI Systems and programmes to support the work.
Ability to establish positive relationship across and beyond the organisation, including building and maintaining personal and professional credibility with line managers, peers, partners and other stakeholders
Working Pattern
Hybrid every Tuesday in the office. There may a requirement to attend the office on other days for training and hearings
