SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary SEMH School - Solihull (B93) - Full-Time

Are you a compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in an SEMH school ? We're working with a fantastic school in Solihull that supports pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs .

This is a full-time position for someone with experience working in SEN settings , particularly supporting children with SEMH. If you're patient, understanding, and passionate about helping young learners thrive, we'd love to hear from you!

• Provide one-to-one and small group support , helping students with their learning and emotional development
• Assist the teacher in creating engaging and structured lessons that cater to individual needs
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a calm, nurturing environment
• Support students in developing social skills, self-regulation, and confidence
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure students receive the best possible support

• Experience working with children with SEMH needs , ideally in an SEN or primary school setting
• Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient approach
• A positive, encouraging attitude with the ability to build trust with pupils
• A passion for helping children develop both academically and emotionally
• Team Teach Training (desirable but not essential)
