Employed GBP50000 to GBP55,000 + bonus
Gloucester & Worcester

We are looking for an experienced mortgage sales manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the mortgage advisor team.

You will manage the team's productivity, maintain key relationships, and provide technical and sales support to mortgage advisors.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a mortgage sales manager, financial services manager, or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgages, financial services, sales processes, and industry regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and coaching abilities.
  • Familiarity with KPI management and the ability to identify areas for improvement.
  • GBP50k Salary + profit share bonus
  • GBP4800 Annual Car Allowance
  • 38 Days holiday (inclusive of BH)

Team Management:

  • Oversee mortgage advisor activity and productivity levels.
  • Ensure all mortgage advisers meet and exceed performance targets.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key internal teams
  • Lead and facilitate monthly team meetings, including business reviews and 121s.
  • Supervise the mortgage progression team and mortgage team leader to drive performance and development.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and deliver training as required.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and mentorship to mortgage advisors to improve sales and performance.
  • Conduct regular observations of mortgage advisor and branch duties, offering constructive feedback for growth.

Support and Operations:

  • Provide technical and sales support to mortgage advisors on cases, ensuring smooth case progression.
  • Identify and pursue additional business opportunities for the mortgage team to maximise growth potential.
  • Ensure all overdue and suspended items are cleared promptly to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Monitor KPIs, assess performance, and implement corrective actions to improve outcomes.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Regularly report on the mortgage team's progress and performance to senior partners.
  • Deliver presentations as required at board meetings, QSMs, and other relevant sessions.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Collaborate with the mortgage team to develop and implement strategies to improve KPIs and overall team performance.
