PT Independent Optometrist

One of the most prestigious practices in the UK are currently looking to add an Optometrist to their tenured team in an exceptionally rare opportunity based in Cambridge.

Standard eye exams are 1 hour long and you will utilise the latest cutting edge technology including Optomap and OCT to provide the finest eye care to their patients.

The practice stocks a wide range of high-end and designer frames/lenses, where patient satisfaction is the number one priority over sales and KPI's.

Additionally the owner is very hands on with the practice and is highly supportive if you want to pursue any additional qualifications or need anything extra such as a company car or extra pension contributions in your package.

You will work alongside an experienced and tenured team including qualified Dispensing Opticians, where the practice runs double clinics every day so you will be alongside another Optometrist.

Moreover the practice has extremely low staff turnover and we fully expect whoever takes this role to be working at the practice for many years to come.

The package is all negotiable with a basic salary up to circa 65,000, all professional fees paid and additional perks such as company car all up for discussion with 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays to round it off.

Key Duties

• Part-time role available to work Monday, Thursday, and Saturday every week
• Standard testing times of 1 hour
• Working with the latest technology including OCT & Optomap amongst more
• Paperless patient records using the Optix system
• Support by a highly-qualified and experienced team including qualified Dispensing Opticians
• Working alongside another Optometrist at all times in a double testing practice

Package and Benefits

• Basic salary negotiable from circa 50,000-65,000+
• Bonus scheme

• 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays
• Practice closed over Christmas/New Year

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• GOC registered as an Optometrist
