HGV 2 Driver

We are currenlty looking for experienced HGV 2 Drivers to work for a top logistics company based in HARLOW, ESSEX . The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service.

Job description

• HGV Class 2 Drivers
• Location - Harlow
• AM & PM Shifts
• Rate - 19 to 20 per hour
• WEEKLY PAY
• PAYE Only

The Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated retail locations within London and the South -East of England region. Key activities will include delivering and collecting cages from high street retailers and NHS Trusts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive primarily HGV Class 2 commercial vehicles.
• Transport goods and materials from one location to another
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of cargo
• Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

Requirements

• Possess a valid HGV C or CE driving licence with the appropriate cards such as CPC and Tacho Cards
• Proven TWO YEARS UK C or CE experience as a working truck driver
• Ability to load and upload cages to and from vehicle safely
• Excellent driving record with no major endorsements and a maximum of 6 points.
• Strong communication skills and a flexible, customer-oriented approach to your work.
