HGV Class 2 Driver - ADR (2 to 6)

Our client based in Thatcham is looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Ideally looking for someone who holds an ADR Certificate (2 to 6), this is beneficial but not essential for the role. Shift: * Monday to Friday * 05:00am/06:00am Start Times Pay: * Up to £17.00 per hour Key Responsibilities: * Drive Class 2 vehicles in strict compliance with UK and EU driving laws and regulations, ensuring each journey is carried out with utmost safety and precision. * Efficiently manage a variety of delivery routes, ensuring goods are delivered on time and in excellent condition. Handle goods with care to maintain the integrity of products from start to finish. * Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of your vehicle. Ensure it is in excellent working condition and report any defects or issues promptly to the maintenance team to prevent disruptions. * Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including the use of personal protective equipment when necessary. Maintain a strong awareness of health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. * Maintain open lines of communication with the logistics team, providing updates on your delivery progress and promptly addressing any potential issues that arise during transit. * Accurately complete all required documentation for deliveries, ensuring records are maintained in line with company and legal requirements. The right candidate will: * Have no more than 6 points on license * Hold an ADR Certificate (2 to 6) * Have min. 1 year experience driving Class 2 vehicles * Have valid CPC and Tachograph * Be confident with the EU driving laws and regulations Aligra have been established since 2007 and have since implemented supply partnerships with a number of the UK’s leading logistics companies.
