Primary PPA teacher

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a teacher to cover PPA cover across a local primary school - this cover is working in year 1,2,3 & 6 three days per week.

This roles involves no planning and prep however marking is required. You will be working alongside the class teachers moving around the year groups across a three day timetable.

The role is currently until the end of the Summer term 2025 however may continue into September.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach the children the curriculum, planning all classroom lessons.
• Be able to adapt lesson plans to work with different children needs and abilities.
• Provide feedback to parents, the school and the agency at the end of the day.
• Managing behaviour and maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

• You must have a relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS etc)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A positive and compassionate attitude towards students
• A valid right to work in the UK
