Location: Cambridge (CB3) Duration: Permanent Hours: 36.5 hour week, 9am - 5pm, on site working for the first 6 months with hybrid options following probationary period Salary: 27000 - 30800 pa Job Reference: 35677 Polytec are looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join the team of our world-leading client based in Cambridge. The position is busy and varied and has plenty of scope for training and development. You will be expected to work on site for the full week initially but following a 6 month probationary period hybrid working with up to 2 days a week at home may be considered. Responsibilities: Working in a busy team of HR Administrators and Senior HR Coordinators providing full support both in person and via email for all HR functions Providing clear and accurate advice on procedure, co-ordinating recruitment and visitor processes and the onboarding of new starters Dealing with all immigration and pre-employment paperwork Checking and publishing adverts, collating applications, arranging interviews, obtaining references, issuing outcome letters to candidates Processing and recording leavers, leave requests, sickness absence, probation reviews and appraisal records using HR information systems Requirements: Previous HR administration experience desirable Excellent administrative and organisational skills Ability to produce work to a high level of accuracy Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a busy team, fostering good working relationships with a wide variety of people from all over the world. Proficient in all standard Microsoft Office packages Self-motivated and able to prioritise your workload within a demanding environment.
