Management Accountant

Role: Management Accountant
Location: Leeds
Salary: 38-41k

Due to a growth in sales this year, our team is expanding, we are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our team, reporting into the Financial Controller.

Key responsibilities;
Producing management accounts for multiple businesses
Providing financial assistance to out-bases when needed
Calculating and raising intercompany recharge invoices
Ensuring stock prices reflect landed costs
Ensuring foreign exchange liability is correctly hedged
Assisting in the budgeting process for multiple business units
Maintenance of the fixed asset register, calculating and posting of depreciation
Posting and payment of expenses
Bank reconciliations
Gaining authorisation of overhead invoices coding and posting
Posting journals
Assisting with more complex stock invoice queries
Reconciliation and maintenance of the invoice financing facility
Overhead variance analysis
Daily sales reporting
Stock reporting
Balance sheet reconciliations
Calculating prepayments and accruals
Calculating customer and supplier rebates

The successful applicant will have:
Excellent organisational and communication skills
The ability to work independently and as part of team.
Previous experience working within a manufacturing/wholesale/distribution industry.
The ability to resolve queries.
Good Excel skills
Ability to prioritise workload.
Ideally ACCA/CIMA part qualified
