Role Overview Power Press Setter

We are a working with a leading manufacturing company specializing in precision engineering and metal forming. We are seeking an experienced Power Press Setter to join our clients production team. You will be responsible for setting and operating a range of power presses to produce high-quality components. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to work with advanced machinery and contribute to our manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities Power Press Setter

  • Set up and operate power presses, including 30-ton, 50-ton, and 60-ton Bruderer, 200-ton Bliss (roll feed), and single-action presses ranging from 20-125 tons.
  • Work with progressive press tooling to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on presses to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and PUWER regulations.
  • Monitor production quality and troubleshoot issues to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and targets.

Key Experience & Qualifications Power Press Setter

  • Proficient in setting and operating:
  • 30-ton Bruderer
  • 50-ton Bruderer
  • 60-ton Bruderer
  • Single-action presses (20-125 tons)
  • Experience with progressive press tooling.
  • Current PUWER Certificate.

Desirable Experience & Skills:

  • Experience with 200-ton Bliss (roll feed).
  • Current Fork Truck Licence
  • Competitive Pay: Hourly rate of GBP14.50 - GBP16.50, based on experience.
