Vehicle Technician

Job Role: Vehicle Mechanic
Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
Salary: GBP30,000-GBP50,000 per annum
Hours: 8:00-17:30 Monday-Friday + 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00-13:00
Job Type: Full time, Permanent

The Duties:

• To carry out maintenance, service and repair on an array of class 4 & 7 motors vehicles.
• Clutches changes, gearbox replacements, wheel alignment, engine fault finding and repair alongside general motor works
• To work closely with fellow mechanics and site members to ensure time frames for repairs are communicated clearly alongside quoting customers effectively.
• Attend company training and development where necessary
• To work alone and as part of a team

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a vehicle mechanic working on class 4/7 vehicles for a minimum of 3 years
• Relevant qualifications (Motor Vehicle repair & maintenance etc NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds) would be advantageous but NOT essential
• Team player and open for growth & development
• Ability to carry out vehicle diagnostics
