Youth Support workers urgently needed in Norwich We are seeking dedicated Youth Support Workers to provide support for young adults within a supported living environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, patience, and resilience. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct welfare checks on residents and their living accommodations. * Ensure fire alarms are operational and carry out meter readings. * Accompany young adults to appointments and provide support. * Liaise with social workers, medical professionals, educational institutions, and management. * Assist with grocery shopping and meal preparation. * Foster a friendly, approachable relationship, offering a relatable and supportive presence for young people. Requirements: * Must hold a valid driver's license and have access to a car. * NVQ Level 3 qualification or a minimum of one year's experience in children's services. * Commitment to working 40 hours per week.
