Pump Service Engineer

Location: Rotherham Job Type: Full-Time – 39.5 hours Monday – Thursday 8 am – 4.30 pm, Friday 7 am – 3 pm (Half Hour Lunch Break unpaid) Salary: £14.50 Company Overview: Our client is a leading provider of rotating equipment repairs in the water sector, with long-term framework contracts with major Water Authorities in the North of England. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician / Service Engineer to maintain screens and equipment within the CSO (combined sewer overflow) network. Key Responsibilities: * Maintenance & Repairs: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wastewater treatment screens, including confined space entry. * Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, and provide detailed reports for further work. * Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to safety and environmental regulations. Required Skills: * Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. * Ability to follow maintenance task lists. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Full UK driving license. Preferred Experience: * Experience with CSO screening (not essential). * Maintenance of mechanical rotating equipment.
