Draughtsman

My client is looking for a Tekla Detailer to join their team near Hull. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside the Structural Engineer and Technical Lead on a range of projects, focusing on the design, fabrication, and erection of glasshouses and associated fit-out items. The selected candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality design, fabrication, and erection drawings using Tekla Structures and AutoCAD software. Key Responsibilities: * Producing detailed 3D models and drawings for steel structures, including glasshouses and fit-out components * Preparing fabrication and erection drawings to industry standards * Collaborating with the Structural Engineer and Technical Lead to ensure accuracy and efficiency * Generating Bills of Materials and other documentation required for manufacturing and site installation * Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications Requirements: * Proven experience as a Tekla Detailer within the steel industry * Proficiency in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD * Strong understanding of steel detailing, fabrication, and erection processes * Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings * Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and work on unique, specialist projects.
