Air Conditioning Service Engineer

Air Conditioning Engineer – Facilities Management | Ayrshire FM Search & Select Ltd is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join a national facilities management company, providing maintenance services across Ayrshire down to Scottish borders. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with expertise in servicing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems in commercial environments. Package: * £38,000 - £41,000 * Company vehicle & fuel card * On-call allowance * Monday - Friday, 45 hours per week * 25 days annual leave + bank holidays * Workplace pension scheme & career development opportunities * Company life assurance * Retail discounts Responsibilities: * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on air conditioning and HVAC systems. * Diagnose and repair faults in split systems, VRV/VRF units, and air handling units. * Perform F-Gas compliance checks and refrigerant management. * Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and industry standards. * Assist with minor mechanical and electrical maintenance when required. * Work collaboratively with other FM engineers to ensure smooth service delivery. * Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients. Qualifications & Skills: * F-Gas Category 1 (2079) qualification (essential) * NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent) * Experience in servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * 18th edition (desirable) * Full UK driving licence Interested?
