Production Manager

Our client are an established multi-site manufacturer, with a regional office in the Batley area. The business is a specialist contractor, who work for clients in the construction & precision engineering sector. Services on offer include; steel profiling, laser cutting, heavy steel engineering Job Description This is a new role for a Production Manager, to join the team to oversee day to day manufacture operations, in the West Yorkshire facility. This role has arisen due to an internal restructure * Managing a team of three team supervisors on site * Reporting to the Production Director * Ensuring H&S standards are constantly being met * Improve manufacturing efficiencies where possible, making suggestions on best practice * Liaising with; logistics, design, and sales departments on a regular basis Personal Profile * Experience in the large scale manufacturing sector is ideal, but not essential * Able to work in a fast-paced environment, where quick project turnaround is often required * Knowledge of heavy manufacturing processes, ideally steel processing / profiling The facility is in Kirklees, and this is a site based vacancy.
