Here at ACR we are working with an industry leading electronics firm who specialise within power and instrumentation devices. Working as part of an experienced team of techs you will be working directly with customer devices to resolve and fix all electronic issues on each piece of equipment. In a role where no two days are the same, this position would suit someone who enjoys a varied job role.

Electronics Repair Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a dedicated electronics service and calibration team, working across a number of electronic power equipment and instrumentation devices
• As an Electronics Repair Engineer your job will be to fault find down to component level
• Repairing and servicing all electronic instruments, calibrating each before they are sent back to customers in full working order
• Assisting customers with technical problems and explaining in non-technical terms any faults found and subsequent work needed
• Occasionally visiting customer sites to carry out on-sit repairs and calibration (company pool car available for travel)
• Working as part of a dedicated electronics service and calibration team to achieve team goals

Skills & Experience Required as an Electronics Repair Engineer :

• Must have experience in electronics instrumentation/power equipment, working within a servicing, test and or calibration role
• Have the ability to fault find analogue and digital electronics down to component level repairs
• Have strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot malfunctions in electrical and mechanical systems
• Be able to work as part of a team as well as have the initiative to work alone
• Need a full UK driving license

Based on the outskirts of Portsmouth this is a Monday Friday, full time permanent role, offering an annual salary of between GBP35,000 - GBP45,000 depending on experience.
