Laser / Punch Operative

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Laser/Punch Operative to join a fast-growing company at its state-of-the-art fabrication facility on the outskirts of Preston. This role is offered on a 26-week contract basis, with the strong potential to transition into a permanent position for the ideal candidate. With a starting pay rate of 13.00 per hour (based on experience), you will have the chance to become part of a dynamic team during an exciting phase of company expansion.

This role would suit an experienced Laser/Punch Operative with strong attention to detail and hands-on experience in operating laser cutting machinery. • Load and run laser cutting programs
• Select and load appropriate materials
• Set machine parameters and centre the nozzle
• Clean the lens and perform routine maintenance
• Break out laser-cut parts and mark them correctly
• Follow safety protocols and operational guidelines

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday, 8am-4:30pm. Friday, 8am - 1pm.
