My client, a very well established and recognised Landscaping company in the Ledbury area of Herefordshire are looking to recruit a Working Supervisor to head up their various teams across the area.

Working closely with and supporting the company owner, you will take on responsibility for the day to day running of allocated landscape installation projects, supervising and working alongside the installation teams. You will ensure that all projects are completed to specification, finished on time and exceed clients expectations.

As the Working Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring teams are leaving the Depot on time, know where they are going, what they are doing and have everything they need to complete the work.
• Ensuring teams on site are completing work efficiently and to the required quality standards and time frames.
• Working alongside installation teams on site to complete installations, liaising with teams on different sites and travelling between sites to resolve any issues, ensure everything is on track and spot anything that is needed.
• Training and developing colleagues to build a knowledgeable and highly skilled team.
• Ensuring teams are working to always meet safety and any site-specific requirements.
• Ensuring teams have all material, plant and equipment on site to be able to complete work and if not to order / pick up what is needed.
• Working with clients and colleagues to resolve any queries or site, staff, work-related issues and if the opportunity arises to promote the additional services that the company can offer.
• Ensuring Health & Safety compliance.
• Completing van, tool and machinery checks and reporting any issues.

To be considered as the Working Supervisor you will need to demonstrate that you have:

• A minimum of two years experience leading or supervising landscaping teams.
• Both hard and soft landscaping experience including (fencing, retaining walls, sleeper beds, pergola and outside structure building anything else water features, ponds, decking, porcelain paving etc.)
• Operated small excavators, dumpers and other powered tools.
• The ability to organise multiple teams working across multiple projects.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
