Aftercare HVAC Engineer

We are a family run business who are looking for an Aftercare HVAC Engineer to join their team based out of Hemel Hempstead on a full-time permanent basis. As a key member of our engineering department you will be responsible for the maintenance of our existing clients providing our white glove service.

About the role:

As an Aftercare HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, repairs and installation of Climate Control equipment including air conditioning and mechanical ventilation within our clients premises and on construction sites.

Other key duties will include:

• Plan visits to ensure timely arrival at appointments.

• Carry out the required scheduled actions and leave the premised neat and tidy.

• Installing HVAC components

• Performing quality checks to ensure systems are working efficiently and safely

• Problem solving - finding and fixing faults

• Abiding by F-Gas rules of work ensure the safe handling of fluorinated refrigerants.

• Keep records of gas recovery, leak checking and recharge within the Simpro system (software solution for trade services)

• Disposal of waste products and materials using correct re-cycling procedures.

• Adherence to health and safety regulations

About you:

You need a minimum of two years previous experience engineer of HVAC systems installations or maintenance of, hold relevant qualifications in handling F-Gas

You will possess excellent communication skills in English with the ability to effectively interact with clients to understand their needs and deliver top notch white glove service. Great attention to detail with problem solving skills to ensure that strong customer care is given to all clients.

Full driving license and willingness to drive throughout London to our various Clients.
