Accounts Assistant - Up to 30,000 Bradford Full-Time
We're working with a successful and long-standing business based in Bradford who are looking to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing finance experience in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
The Role: As an Accounts Assistant, you'll be involved in a range of day-to-day finance tasks to support the wider team. This role offers variety, exposure to different aspects of accounting, and the chance to grow within a well-established company.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing purchase and sales invoices
Reconciling supplier statements and bank accounts
Assisting with month-end procedures
Maintaining accurate records and updating financial systems
Handling general ledger entries and adjustments
Supporting with VAT returns and other reporting as needed
Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software
Excellent organisational and time management skills
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Studying AAT (or similar) would be an advantage, but not essential
