Dispensing Assistant (Pharmacy) Leighton Buzzard – Onsite Up to £25k DOE Are you a detail-oriented and patient-focused professional with a background in pharmacy dispensing? We are recruiting for a Dispensing Assistant to join our client, a leader in pharmacy distribution. Key responsibilities: * Labelling and dispensing homecare prescriptions for final accuracy checks. * Maintaining accurate patient medication records. * Supporting the dispensary’s smooth operation. * Ensuring compliance with stock management, fridge temperature monitoring, and general dispensary standards. * This is a full-time position with flexibility required to meet service needs, which may include urgent medical requirements. Key Requirements: * Proven experience as a Dispensary Assistant or similar role. * Attention to detail and the ability to accurately perform repetitive tasks. * Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads, and self-audit. * A clear patient focus and willingness to take responsibility for actions. * Knowledge of therapies related to homecare prescriptions is an advantage. Desirable: * NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services Skills (Dispensing) , if not the client can enrol you on the course.
