Senior Site Manager One of my busiest customers have reached out to me to help them find a Senior Site Manager based in Tyne and Wear for a modular school in Houghton-Le-Spring. About the role of Senior Site Manager: Project involves demolition of existing modular building, enabling and groundworks for the new modular, and fit out to complete. Will be working in a live school, so enhanced DBS needed, as well as SMSTS, and suitable CSCS card. Ideally first aid trained as well. Responsibilities for the Senior Site Manager: Strong people management skills, experience in leading large teams, including solid technical knowledge of short-term programming, construction methodology. Experience managing all phases of fit out packages, including health and safety, quality, and costs Knowledge of internal design, detailing, and structural design standards, as well as experience designing facades for different types of projects Understanding of internal materials, manufacturing methods, installation, and testing Ability to communicate effectively with architects, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders, and to present design concepts clearly Working with other professionals, such as engineers and architects, to achieve project objectives Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites. Making sure all health & safety protocols are in place.
