Fire And Security Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join our client based in Norwich. You must have at least 2 years of experience working with fire systems, emergency lighting, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems. What You’ll Do: * Install, maintain, and repair fire and security systems to BAFE and SSAIB standards * Commission systems and explain how they work to customers * Diagnose faults and complete reports accurately and on time * Join an out-of-hours call-out rota (around once every 6 weeks) * Support your team with technical knowledge and problem-solving What You’ll Need: * At least 2 years of relevant experience * Knowledge of BS5839:1, BS5266:1, BS7671 * Experience working to BAFE SP203-1 and SSAIB standards * Strong customer service and communication skills * IT skills and the ability to use relevant software * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Full UK driving licence * Right to work in the UK What We Offer: * Salary of £35,000–£40,000 (based on experience and qualifications) * 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday * Company vehicle and fuel card * Laptop and tablet * Pension scheme * Training and support for career growth * Friendly and modern working environment * Company events About Marble Talent As engineering recruitment specialists, we pride ourselves on the ability to turn aspiring candidates at the beginning, middle or towards the end of their engineering careers into successful, professional engineers place at the right companies.
