The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join our committed team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in preparing our pupils for their SATs, ensuring every child is supported to achieve their full potential through high-quality teaching and targeted interventions. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the Year 6 curriculum Provide structured and personalised support for SATs preparation Track pupil progress, assess outcomes, and adapt teaching accordingly Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-expectations classroom environment Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the academic and emotional wellbeing of all pupilsEssential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential – applications without QTS will not be considered Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6 Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 national curriculum and SATs preparation High expectations for all learners with a commitment to raising achievement Strong organisational and communication skillsWhat We Offer: A welcoming, supportive, and collaborative staff team Enthusiastic and hardworking pupils who enjoy learning Excellent resources and a well-maintained learning environment Opportunities for continuous professional development A leadership team committed to staff wellbeing and career progression We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
